This is the ideal stay when coming to Barcelona. The place was flawless and centrally located. I’ll be back before the year is out. Oh and the shower on the balcony is top tier luxury treatment. I highly recommend!

Marcel's place is one of the best we've ever booked thru Airbnb. Squeaky clean, decorated with elegance and great taste. Very private and quiet. Kitchen has everything you need. Spacious balcony is great to have a breakfast or a glass of wine, or lunch, or dinner, or even a sunbathe. The location is the best you can think of - 4 minutes walking to Casa Battlo, 12 minutes to La Pedrera, 45 - to Familia Sagrada. We've been walking everywhere. Sometimes we would come to our apartment in the middle of the day for some rest. A lot of great restaurants just in a walking distance. Marcel was very nice and helpful. When we come back to Barcelona, we will definitely stay at his place.

Very welcoming host with a really nice apartment. Absolutely worth the money. The location couldn't be better, with the metro entrance just 10 meters away and everything else within a few hundred meters. Lots of great restaurants in the area. The fact that Barcelona chose that very weekend to fill up the water reservoirs is not Marcel’s fault 😳.

Wow, the apartment is really is in a great location, very central for doing everything on foot, and the metro is right next door. The Gaudí houses are next door, and there are plenty of restaurants. Lots of light thanks to the terrace. Quiet too!

Marcel was a great host and although we never met, Enrique was equally charming and helpful. The location was great for walking to Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, Place de Catalunya. Good local restaurants. Marcel has videos, papers, notes and recommendations for everything! Very thoughtful and thorough. I have already talked to friends about it. Perfect for 2 people but does have a hide-a-bed too so could have some kids as well. Balcony was great though it was a bit cool while we were there so could not enjoy as others might during other seasons. Glad we were able to find this and expect we will stay again when we come back to Barcelona! John

We loved staying in Marcel's home. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We were a group of five people and we had plenty of room to relax. Thanks to the sofa bed, everyone had their own bed to sleep in too. The home was well equipped with a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, as well as detergent, paper towels, and coffee. Marcel was excellent with communication. He even provided a YouTube video about how to work the appliances. He also was able to let us store our luggage in the apartment, for a short time after checkout. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about Marcel's apartment or his friendly and helpful communication. I highly recommend a stay here.

Spent 5 nights at Marcel's apartment. The apartment looks just like the pictures and description; lots of closet space and storage - appreciated all the hangers available as there are usually never enough; easy to walk to metro, local shopping, major sightseeing spots; laundry facilities were great as there was a rack to use that was outdoors so dried very quickly; can't speak for any of the cooking devices (oven, stove, pots/pans) as we never cooked but used coffee pot, toaster and microwave; good size fridge and freezer; never had issue with hot water for 3 showers; very quiet even though right in the center of things. The sofa bed in living room (has a nice topper for it) is more comfortable than the bed in bedroom but we had no issues for that length of time. Marcel was very responsive to any questions and communication was easy.

Great location. We could get to any area or plan easily. Loved the terrace. Shopping nearby. Host provided a list of recommendations. It was lovely.

Great location. Marcel even arranged our taxi to the airport the day we left.
