The unexpected beginning2002

A simple favour became a life in hospitality.

In September 2002, I visited Barcelona for the first time. I was 25 years old and planned to stay for just 10 days.

That was all it took for me to fall in love with this incredible city. After returning to my home country, Germany, I packed my bags, made all the necessary arrangements, and moved to Barcelona just four weeks later.

Only one week after arriving, a local apartment owner asked if I happened to know anyone in Germany who might like to visit Barcelona and rent her apartment for their holiday. As it turned out, I did.

More than twenty yearsA world of guests

I still remember my own first days here.

More than twenty years later, I have had the pleasure of welcoming guests from all over the world, from Alaska to Oman, from Iceland to Abu Dhabi, and everywhere in between. Meeting people from so many different cultures has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

I understand how exciting Barcelona is, especially for first-time visitors. My goal has always been to provide more than just a comfortable place to stay. I want my guests to experience the Barcelona that made me fall in love with this city over twenty years ago.

Location has always been everything.

PDG15 Suites is located at Passeig de Gràcia 15, one of Barcelona's most prestigious addresses and just one block from Plaça de Catalunya, the city's main square. From here, guests can explore much of Barcelona on foot.

Within just a few minutes you can reach Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, the Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas, El Born and many of Barcelona's most famous restaurants, tapas bars and shopping streets. The Metro, airport bus and public transport connections are also only a short walk away, making it easy to reach every corner of the city.

What I love most about this neighbourhood is that it offers the perfect balance. You are right in the heart of Barcelona, surrounded by beautiful architecture, culture, shopping and outstanding restaurants, while still enjoying the elegance and atmosphere of Passeig de Gràcia.

Eight apartments. One address. A personal welcome.

Today, I run PDG15 Suites, a small and carefully selected collection of eight premium apartments, all located in the same beautiful historic building at Passeig de Gràcia 15.

Every suite is different. Our collection includes one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well as both short-stay holiday rentals and monthly accommodation for longer visits. This allows us to welcome couples, families, business travellers and guests relocating to Barcelona while offering the same exceptional location and personal service.

Each apartment has been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable, elegant and authentic Barcelona experience. Rather than staying in a standard holiday apartment, our guests enjoy the character of a historic building combined with modern comforts on one of Europe's most iconic avenues.

One thing you will quickly notice is that we genuinely care. From clear communication before arrival to local recommendations and assistance during your stay, my aim is to make every guest feel welcome and at home. Many guests tell us this personal approach is why they return to PDG15 Suites.
